چکیده

Abstract Background Ti 3 C 2 is a type of transition metal carbides and nitrides (MXenes) with high light-to-heat conversion efficiency property, which has been widely used in cancer treatment recently. In fact, active targeting delivery MXenes nanomaterials molecule could enhance the therapeutic efficacy. However, targeted therapy not further studied past. Aptamers (Apt) excellent affinity specificity properties have as tools. Predictably, incorporation Apt into will offer an unprecedented opportunity research fields therapy. Results Transmembrane glycoprotein mucin 1 (MUC1) overexpressed on surface MCF-7 cells, MUC1 (Apt-M) target cells specificity. Here, smart nanotherapeutic system /Apt-M was fabricated, specifically recognize enter cells. Benefitting from desirable performance Apt-M, completed ingestion process /Apt-Mf nanosheets within 4 h, Apt-M facilitated entry Besides, exhibited potential outstanding photothermal agent (PTA) because inherited wrapped nanosheets. As demonstrated, upon 808 nm laser irradiation, displayed satisfactory antitumor effect by both vitro vivo. Conclusion This study provides new idea for development performance. Graphical

Aptamer-conjugated nanorods for targeted photothermal therapy of prostate cancer stem cells.

Prostate cancer results in about 30,000 deaths annually in the United States, making it the second leading cause of cancer mortality in men in the Western world. Therefore, it is of great significance to capture and kill prostate cancer cells. It is well known that cancer stem cells are responsible for the maintenance and metastasis of tumors. This concept offers the possibility of developing a...

Artesunate-modified nano-graphene oxide for chemo-photothermal cancer therapy

Poor water-solubility of artesunate (ARS) hampers its clinical application. We here covalently linked ARS to PEGylated nanographene oxide (nGO-PEG) to obtain ARS-modified nGO-PEG (nGO-PEG-ARS) with excellent photothermal effect and dispersibility in physiological environment. nGO-PEG-ARS induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) and peroxynitrite (ONOO─) generations. Although nGO-PEG with near-infr...

A Synthetic Aptamer-Drug Adduct for Targeted Liver Cancer Therapy

AS1411 (previously known as AGRO100) is a 26 nucleotide guanine-rich DNA aptamer which forms a guanine quadruplex structure. AS1411 has shown promising utility as a treatment for cancers in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials without causing major side-effects. AS1411 inhibits tumor cell growth by binding to nucleolin which is aberrantly expressed on the cell membrane of many tumors. In this s...

AS1411 Aptamer Conjugated Gold Nanoclusters as a Targeted Radiosensitizer for Megavoltage Radiation Therapy of 4T1 Breast Cancer Cells

Introduction: In the present study, AS1411 aptamer conjugated gold nanoclusters (GNCs) have been introduced as a targeted radiosensitizer for enhancing megavoltage radiation therapy efficacy. RT has identified as an effective therapeutic modality for many different types of solid tumors. However, equal radiation beams absorption by tumor and surrounding healthy tissues is still...
